Charles Stewart earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of California Irvine. He worked extensively in emergency medicine prior to joining COMG in 1988. As a certified orthopedic technician (O.T.-C.), he expanded the O.T.-C. responsibilities within the medical community.

Charles returned to school in 1992 and earned his Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science degree at Tuoro College in Long Island, New York. He worked with and instructed doctors in their residency at Winthrop University Hospital Trauma Center in New York, before rejoining COMG in 1995.

Charles was the first physician assistant to receive the full scope of P.A. privileges at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
