The Spine Institute

COMG has a dedicated Spine Institute whose compassionate physicians are expertly trained at diagnosing and treating disorders of the spine. We have two board certified spine surgeons and two non-surgical spine care specialists who are board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation..

.

The COMG Spine Institute is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the neck and back. The COMG spine care team offers a comprehensive treatment approach for patients that includes expert diagnosis, education, rehabilitation, interventional therapies (spine injections), medications, and surgery only when necessary.

Our expert physicians employ state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures to identify sources of pain and determine an appropriate course of treatment. Diagnostics include physical examinations, x-rays, MRI, EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies, and injections as a process of elimination to isolate the particular anatomical structure, process or disease causing the pain.

We perform a variety of X-ray-guided pain relieving and diagnostic spine injections including epidurals, facet injections, nerve blocks, discography, radiofrequency techniques, and Kyphoplasty to assist in the diagnosis, treatment and management of pain. When necessary, surgical treatment using state-of-the art techniques and technology will be utilized by our surgeons to achieve a quick and maximal recovery while minimizing pain.
