Sydney was raised in Mission Viejo, California. She earned her bachelor's degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. During her PA training, she completed an additional clinical rotation in orthopedic trauma surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Before attending PA school, Sydney worked as a rehabilitation aide at Mission Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys reading, stand-up paddleboarding, and spending time with her dogs.
