COVID-19

COVID-19

To our patients,

Community Orthopedic Medical Group is committed to servicing our valued patients. During this time of crisis we are keeping our doors open and are offering TeleMedicine/TeleHealth appointments when possible. Some conditions may require an in-office examination. Please contact our office to see if a TeleMedicine/TeleHealth visit may be appropriate for you.

We are very aware of the challenges you are facing due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. Our current plan is to keep our office open to provide medical care to you, our valued patients. We are following the precautions and advice from the CDC, Health Department and other experts to help keep our patients and staff safe.

For patients coming to the office, we have implemented a very thorough disinfection and sanitation routine in our waiting rooms, treatment areas, medical equipment, MRI and x-ray rooms and common areas. Employees are dedicated to washing their hands frequently for your safety as well as theirs. You will be offered hand sanitizer as needed. We will not allow any staff member to work in the office if they show any signs of illness. Patients will be offered the choice to wait in the waiting room or their cars until ready to be taken to the examination room. We would ask that you try to complete most of your office paperwork online and at home to minimize wait times in clinic.

We have been diligently screening all patients to make sure they don’t have symptoms associated with COVID-19. If you have been experiencing ANY cold or flu symptoms presently or in the last 14 days, have been exposed to anyone with a respiratory illness or fever (higher than 100.4 degrees), have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 virus, or have traveled abroad, or in an area with a high number of cases within the last 14 days you may be asked to reschedule the appointment and offered Telemedicine options.

The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. We appreciate the trust our patients have in us and look forward to being of service to you.
